Browsing on a prim just got friendlier

SLNN's web page viewed in-world.

DADEN PRIME  -  Virtual world consultants Daden Limited have announced a new Web browser for use within Second Life. The browser, called the Daden Navigator, enables residents to collectively browse the Web.

A user rezzes the browser onto land they own. All commands to the Daden Navigator are done through textual chat. A spoken URL command brings up that Web site onto a media screen. So far this is little new.

However, the Daden Navigator emulates many browser features, making a nice addition to SL’s available tools. To follow a link on a displayed page, say the name of the link or some unique keywords from it. The new Web page loads. Saying “back” and “forward” moves the display to the last or previous shown URL.

This isn't that significant. You can tell it to load a URL via the media settings. LOL thats no different than a tv set. There are no hypertext links, no hotlinked graphics, no forms functionality.
